As i mentioned yesterday our wonderful next door neighbour Dee made Daniel a birthday cake. I invited her and her two children around for afternoon tea. The rest of us had muffins while Daniel enjoyed his cake.
Then we all enjoyed playing with the bubbles Daniel got from playgroup yesterday. It was a very enjoyable afternoon.
Above Daniel plays with the presents he got from his aunty’s.

I wanted to share this with you. It is simply shocking. I dont understand some parents at all. See this link. This story was on the news the other night. Parents have to be responsible. Little ones lives depend on it. I was so shocked to hear that there was no thing holding this little one in at all meaning that every time the driver went around the corner the baby would have rolled from one side of the ute to the other. SHOCKING and SAD. As the reporter said carseats can be hired cheaply. And what amount of $$ is the life of a wee baby.
I circled this photo of a ute to highlight where the police said the baby was ![]()

This morning I was working on here and was aware that it was blowing a gale outside. Daniel was asleep thankfully. Otherwise I might have had a crying baby to deal with too. Next minute BANG!!!!!!!!!! SMASH!!!!!!!!! I got a fright. The french door had somehow rattled opened in the wind (it had been locked) and flown open and smashed. I rang Muzz and asked that he come over earlier (hes babysitting tonight) with some wood and then rang the landlord. The landlord said he’d get someone around today to fix it – hope so.

not blogging much tonight
im tired
had a terrible night sleep last night
plagued by bad dreams even after i read my book
great company. great salads, nice bbq, good music. GREAT BIG bonfire. Heaps of fireworks – sori about the photos. Billy had an awesome time. Daniel loved the music really getting into it and bobbing around “dancing.” He however didnt like the fireworks they caused him to tense up and jump – maybe he will like them better next year. I kept him inside while they had them.
This afternoon after church we went to some friend’s of ours house for lunch it was nice. The father adores my boys and takes them under his wing. He took Billy down to the bonfire last night while Muzz and I stayed up on the hill near the house. The man also treats Daniel like a grandson. Real awesome people. So this afternoon was good too.
Well Im off to bed
hopefully tonight I will sleep better
hope so
This morning Billy and I went and helped at the church fair. The youth group were in charge of the bouncy castle and slide and BBQ. Billy helped prepare the bread and serviettes for the BBQ and I took the $$. We got a chance to have a look around too. I brought another Danielle Steele book, a couple of books for Muzz on parenting (hes a good dad but I always think parenting is an on the job on going job where we can never learn enough
), a book for Daniel and filled a bag of clothes for 50cents. Also got a school bag for Billy. His old got a hole in it. Billy has informed me that he has done his Christmas shopping. So thats good dont know about everything he got – I know what Muzz is getting though!!
In the afternoon took it easy. Not sleeping very well at night. Too much on my mind. Am sniffing lavender. Prayers would be appreciated.
Muzz took us out to dinner at McDonald’s. Thanks Muzz a good time was had by all.
Church in the morning. It was All Saints day and we discussed how we are All Saints. All doing something to plant the good news seed. For example I am involved in reaching young people in the youth group.
At 4pm the boys and I went with the youth group ten pin bowling. Billy’s best friend there won their game which they played with 4 others. Billy’s best friend had never played the game before so we were happy he had such a good time playing it.
Woke up with Daniel at 2am he was HOT gave him some pamol, took his PJs off and put a sheet over him and gave him a bottle of water. Finally he cooled down and finally he went back to sleep
5am – woke up again to Daniel. More water. No temperature. Unsettled. Finally sleep again
He had breakie of 1/2 a weetbix this morning. Didnt want any lunch though.
Back to the doctor hes not happy today and his ear is red
Another ear infection, script for more antibiotics except we can wait 24 hours to see if he comes right – this is after all the 3rd lot hes had recently
Went to see a dear friend (the youth group leader) and her mum (they had their hubby and dad go to be with Jesus recently) Daniel decided to have a biscuit for a late lunch there
Poor wee man of mine
