The Holly and the Ivy

Yesterday Daniel and I spent the morning listening to Christmas music. Daniel likes dancing. He stands up beside my computer chair holding on to it for balance and wiggles his little behind. I came across the above carol. Ive never heard it before. Listen to the tune and read the words. Its quite a song!!

This is a link to making a Nativity scene. Its easier enough to do with preschoolers. I may end up using it this time next year when I am working in a kindergarten.

Recently I found the interesting website “how stuff works”

It has lots of interesting subjects on it and explains how all sorts of things work.

This page has heaps of info on my theme for this month – you might find something that interests you within it

The Christmas Channel

Today sees us pulling up weeds. Mowing the lawns again. Sewing buttons on clothes.

Sorting out my summertime clothes.

Tonight we are having a friend and his wife come over for fish’n’chips and a dvd

  1. I’m actually sitting here listening to Christmas music. Maybe it will actually get me into the mood to put up our Christmas tree
