Tonight at youth group we had a Fear Factor night.

The kids had to bob for insects in bloody water _santiago_26796_1_11252005_1711194131_170.jpg(the insects were plastic and the water had red food dye in it). Be blindfolded and try different foods (salami, an olive, sunflower seeds, mayonnaise, tartare sauce, mustard) that us adults feed to them. Then guess what each food was. Again be blindfolded and eat eyeballs grapeswithcoating.jpg(peeled grapes).
They were timed at eating things like doggie poo (dates) in jelly and jelly with flies and maggots in it (raisins and long grain rice). Eating wormsworms.gif(gummy worms that had been coated with crushed chocolate wafer biscuits). The youth group leader was really good dramatising the whole thing. Billy did really well. Winning a couple of the timed games and really got stuck into the insect bob.

It was a lot of fun. We also had a plain simple yummy dinnerhot-dog-ecopy.jpgalthough Billy wanted to investigate it to make sure it hadnt been tampered with. The kids also played a couple of ball games.

  1. Hmmm, not sure if I could eat that stuff – even though I know it’s not the real thing. I can’t even watch that show because I can’t stop gagging. Hahaha
