On the 3rd day of Christmas my true love gave to me . . .

Three French Hens

or in other words

The Three Theological Virtues – Faith, Hope and Love (1 Corinthians13:13)

Yesterday afternoon we went to a friend of Muzz’s who is over from Australia for lunch. It was yummy salads, potatoes, assorted meats, prawns, cauli and broccoli. He works in a radio station over there so hes always very interesting to talk to. His brother, his sister-in-law, their son and 8 week old daughter came over too. It was real nice meeting them. It was also very hot. Afterwards we drove around the corner and looked at where some friends of ours are building their new house.

After a good afternoon sleep Daniel tried out his paddling pool.

He splashed and splashed and splashed.

Today Im concentrating on doing the washing as Billy is going away on holiday tomorrow. win-26.jpgAnd the biggest problem with that is my washing machine is a bit sick. It tends to get stuck half way through the cycles. Then i have to go and reset it. I think its do with the washing machines programming having gotten old or something.

Daniel slept a lot today think hes catching up from the last few days. Muzz got called out on a job and Billy has gone to the movies with some friends.

When Daddy got home he had something for Daniel. He got it from his client who didnt want it anymore. Daniel loved it. He really wanted to help Muzz set it up but they didnt work very well. So we watched with Daniel letting me know what he really wanted to do. Then he enjoyed opening and shutting the desk lid over and over again LOL. Muzz showed him how it could have books in it and read him some of the stories too. Muzz is such a good daddy and Daniel loved his new desk. daniels-new-desk.jpgdaniels-new-desk1.jpgdaniels-new-desk2.jpg

  1. Hiiiiii Jen! Thanks for stopping by! It sounds like you have had a lovely Christmas & thereafter! I can NOT get used to Christmases that involve splash pools and barbeque! ROFL! But I was visiting another friend – from Australia – and she was talking about making turkey – in the SUMMER! I can’t imagine THAT either! If I lived Down Unda Christmas would definately be all about barbeque meals — certainly not Turkey! We would save that for …. Some holiday in August! Hehehe… I’m glad you enjoyed it! Christmas should ALWAYS be enjoyable? Oh … do you make Happy Birthday CAKE for Jesus? We always did when the children were small.
